Applicon is a well-established fintech company that collaborates with banks and financial institutions across the Nordic region. Specializing in banking and finance, they offer IT services and solutions that consist of their own products and standard products, such as SAP, built on experience from working with leading companies in financial services.
With a strong position in the market and many opportunities to both grow and broaden their business, Applicon has great potential to further streamline and modernize banks' and financial institutions’ operations. It is now decided that Andreas Eliasson will take over as Managing Director and lead the company into the future, starting in April 2023. Andreas steps up from his current role as CMO/CRO at Applicon.

Andreas continues:
– My focus in the near future is to provide excellent service to our customers. Innovation is and will be a focus area, including developing a new SaaS product for personal transaction monitoring this fall. I’m also eager for us to work even closer with our parent company, Origo, to tap into their deep expertise in banking, finance, and product development. While we already work well as a team when delivering core banking platforms, we want to expand that collaboration into other areas. Origo has strong expertise in banking processes, product development, and security-related matters. I believe that by working together as a team, we can offer an exceptional product and service portfolio to customers in Sweden. I aim to leverage Origo's strengths and expertise to create the best possible outcome for our customers.
About Andreas Eliasson
Andreas Eliasson has been responsible for Applicon's sales and marketing in recent years. With over 15 years of experience in banking and finance from a software development perspective – as well as a long history at Applicon – he knows the company inside and out. Andreas also has an extensive record as a business development and business area manager and a civil engineering background in IT management. He took over as Managing Director of Applicon at the beginning of April 2023.
